PIR Composite Ductwork
PIR Composite Ductwork is prefabricated pre-insulated panels purpose-built for high-performance HVAC duct systems. The core is rigid Polyisocyanurate (PIR) foam, valued for excellent thermal behaviour and flame retardancy.
Construction and Constituent Materials
The panel is a composite with a sandwich layout:
Core Material PIR foam serves as the thermal insulation core, providing high thermal resistance and structural strength with low weight.
Facings A sealed protective layer is laminated onto both surfaces of the foam core. The typical selections include:
Aluminum Foil: 80-micron thickness, the standard facing for conventional indoor projects.
Aluminum Sheet: 200-micron thickness for improved mechanical strength and longevity, applicable to external environments.

Quick installation
Compared with the complex process of traditional Air ducts that require on-site cutting, welding and wrapping of insulation layers, Polyurethane Air Duct Panel adopts a modular design. It can be prefabricated into standard sections or special-shaped parts according to the construction drawings and spliced on-site with special connectors. The installation efficiency is increased by more than 50% and the construction period is shortened.
Low maintenance costs
the surface of the board is smooth and flat, which is not easy to accumulate dust and reduces the frequency of cleaning inside the air duct. Moreover, it has excellent anti-aging performance. Under normal usage conditions, its service life can reach over 20 years, and the later maintenance cost is only one fourth of that of traditional air ducts.
