The first step is to select an appropriate PVC/aluminum invisible flange based on the size and type of the HVAC ducts being connected. Ensuring that the flange size matches the duct size is essential for a proper fit and connection.

Before installation, it’s important to prepare the surfaces where the flange will be attached. This involves cleaning and ensuring they are free of any debris or contaminants that could affect the quality of the connection.

The PVC invisible profile is positioned at one end of the duct, aligning it with the duct’s opening. It’s then secured in place using suitable fasteners such as screws or bolts. Properly tightening the fasteners ensures a secure connection.

Once the flange is installed on one duct, the other duct can be connected to it. This is typically done by inserting the end of the second duct into the opening of the flange and securing it in place. This connection ensures a sealed pathway for air flow between the ducts.

To prevent air leakage at the connection point, it’s important to ensure a tight seal between the ducts and the flange. This may involve using sealing materials such as duct tape or sealant to fill any gaps and create an airtight seal.

After installation, it’s advisable to test the connection to ensure its secure and airtight. This can be done by pressurizing the duct system and checking for any leaks or weak points in the connection.
