PIR Insulation Air Duct Board is essential high-performance elements for modern HVAC systems. Built with an aluminum foil–PIR foam sandwich, they replace traditional galvanized steel ducts with on-site insulation. Fire Safety
PIR foam core: Class B1 flame retardant; aluminium foil surface: A1 non-combustible. Low smoke output and no dripping while burning. Complies with BS 476 and EN 13501, ideal for high fire-risk sites: data centres, subways and hospitals.
Long Service Life
Strong corrosion resistance. 95% strength retained after 720 hours acid/alkali immersion; no rust or pulverisation. Designed service life: 20 years. Galvanized steel ducts rust easily (5–8 years lifespan); phenolic ducts crack within 3–5 years.

Thermal Insulation and Physical Performance of PIR Insulation Air Duct Board
