PUR Air Conditioning Duct Panel

Manufactured with high-performance PU foam as the core material, PU pre-insulated duct panels are lightweight composite products. They integrate excellent thermal insulation, structural rigidity and certified fire resistance into one integrated unit, and are widely used in various HVAC construction projects.

This modular all-in-one duct system effectively cuts down energy loss of the whole system, speeds up on-site installation, and maintains consistent ventilation performance throughout long-term service.

This pre-insulated duct features a three-layer sandwich panel structure:

Aluminum Facings

Inner and outer sides are lined with aluminum foil or sheet for smooth, hygienic and anti-corrosion performance. Standard indoor foil thickness is 60–80 microns; thicker aluminum sheets or extra coatings are available for outdoor and heavy-duty scenarios.

Rigid PU Foam Core

The central rigid polyurethane foam delivers superior thermal insulation. Its closed-cell structure endows the duct with waterproof capability and reliable sound insulation.

Ozone-Safe PU Foam

No CFCs or HCFCs are used during foam production, eliminating damage to the ozone layer.

A. Environmental protection performance

Fluorine-free (CFC/ HCFC-free), formaldehyde-free, and free benzene-free, the all-water foaming technology complies with the EU RoHS directive.

Recyclability: PIR foam and metal surface layer can be separated and recycled, reducing waste.

B. Service life

Under normal usage conditions, the service life is ≥20 years, and the surface coating can be extended to more than 25 years. For instance, the anti-corrosion coating on the surface of aluminum foil can resist the erosion of acid rain and industrial waste gas.

Thermal insulation and energy conservation:

The thermal conductivity is as low as 0.02W/(m · k), which is only half that of EPS material. Combined with the cold bridge interface design, it meets the building energy conservation requirements of over 65%.

Safety and fire prevention:

After adding flame retardants to the core material, it meets the B1 grade difficult-to-burn standard. Some products can be upgraded to A2 grade. No toxic gases are released during combustion, and the softening point exceeds 250℃.

Lightweight and high strength:

The density of the board is 1.5-2.0g/cm³. The weight of a 4mm thick board is only 5.5-7.5kg per square meter. The peel strength is ≥7N/mm, and the wind pressure resistance performance is ≥ 1.5kpa
