Lightweight PU Air Ducting, alternatively designated PU aluminum foil duct panel and PU sandwich duct panel, is a high-spec composite material intended for HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) air duct applications.
The product adopts a trilaminar laminated structure composed of:
Dual outer facings: High-tensile aluminum foil, supplied in plain or embossed variants
Internal core substrate: Rigid polyurethane (PU) foam, functioning as structural backing and thermal insulating medium

Compliance Standards and Environmental Attributes of Lightweight PU Air Ducting

Safety Compliance: The fire resistance rating reaches non-flammable B1 level. It complies with international standards such as GB 8624-2012 and EN 45545, and the smoke toxicity meets the standards.
Environmental Safety: It does not contain harmful substances such as CFC, formaldehyde, and free benzene. It meets the environmental limit standards for building insulation materials and is green and pollution-free.
Scene Restrictions: It is not suitable for acidic or alkaline environments and smoke exhaust and prevention systems. In high-pressure scenarios, specialized reinforced products need to be selected.

Method: Boards are scored, folded, and assembled into rectangular; joints sealed with pressure-sensitive aluminum foil tape or water-based acrylic adhesive.
