I. Core Performance of PU Insulation Panel

Super strong heat insulation and heat preservation performance

With polyurethane (PU) as the core material, its thermal conductivity is as low as ≤0.022W/(m · K), which is far superior to traditional materials such as rock wool (≥0.040W/(m · K)) and EPS (≥0.033W/(m · K)). The core material has a closed-cell rate of over 95%, effectively blocking air convection and heat conduction. It maintains stable insulation performance in an environment ranging from -40 ℃ to 80℃, making it suitable for extreme scenarios such as low-temperature cold storage and high-temperature workshops. ​

 

Reliable fire resistance performance

The core material is added with environmentally friendly flame retardants and has passed the B1 grade test of GB 8624-2012 "Classification for Fire Performance of Building Materials and Products". When exposed to fire, it only carbonizes on the surface without generating molten droplets. The smoke toxicity grade reaches "ZA1" (the lowest toxicity), meeting the fire protection requirements of industrial plants, public buildings, etc. ​

 

Anti-aging and structural strength

The surface coating can be selected from color steel plate, aluminum foil, glass fiber cloth, etc. It is resistant to acid and alkali, ultraviolet aging, and can resist rain erosion and temperature difference deformation when used outdoors. The composite structure design enables the sheet to have a bending strength of ≥15MPa and a compressive strength of ≥20MPa, allowing it to be directly used as a sheet for the enclosure structure and reducing the need for additional supporting components. ​

 

II. Application Fields: Covering the demands of multiple industry scenarios

The construction industry

It is used for the exterior walls/roofs of industrial plants, individual household insulation in residential buildings, and the enclosure of cold chain logistics cold storage. For instance, if PU insulation boards and color steel cladding are adopted for food cold storage, the cold loss rate can be reduced by 30%, and about 15% of electricity bills can be saved each month.

The field of transportation

As the core insulation material for refrigerated trucks and insulated containers, its weight is only one-third of that of traditional insulation materials, which can reduce vehicle energy consumption while ensuring structural stability under bumpy road conditions. ​

 

The field of electronics and equipment

It is used for constant temperature boxes of precision instruments and insulation covers of photovoltaic inverters. With low thermal conductivity and resistance to humidity changes, it ensures the operational accuracy of the equipment in harsh environments. ​

It has better energy-saving performance

Under the same insulation effect, the thickness of PU insulation board is only half that of rock wool board, which can reduce the thickness of building walls and increase the indoor usable area (taking a 1000㎡ factory building as an example, it can expand about 50㎡ more space). ​

 

Environmental protection and lightweighting

The core material does not contain harmful substances such as formaldehyde and benzene, and complies with GB/T 18883-2022 "Indoor Air Quality Standard". The surface density of the board is ≤25kg/㎡, and no heavy lifting equipment is required during installation, reducing construction costs. ​

 

Outstanding sound insulation effect

The closed-cell structure can effectively absorb sound waves, with an air sound insulation capacity of over 40dB. It can be used for hospital wards and office building partition walls to reduce external noise interference. ​

 

Iv. Installation and Maintenance: Convenience enhances usage efficiency

Modular installation

Standardized production of panels (standard size 1200mm×3950mm, customizable length available), fixed by tongue and groove splicing or bolts. The average daily installation area per person can reach 30 square meters, which shortens the construction period by 50% compared with traditional on-site spray insulation. ​

 

Low maintenance cost

The surface coating is easy to clean and only requires wiping to remove dust on a daily basis. If there is local damage, it can be filled with a special PU repair agent without the need for overall replacement. Its service life can reach 15 to 20 years, during which no frequent maintenance is required
