Material Performance of PU Insulation Foam Panel

From a structural perspective, the closed-cell rate of PU boards can reach over 90%, with independent and non-connected pores and a water absorption rate of ≤ 3%. The waterproof and moisture-proof ability is extremely strong.

In warm ventilation ducts and cold storage environments with high humidity and frequent condensation water, there will be no insulation failure or board deformation due to water absorption. At the same time, its density is typically within the range of 35 - 50 kg/m³, balancing strength and lightweight, with a compressive strength of ≥ 150 kPa, capable of withstanding regular foot踩踏 and external compression, and not prone to cracking or powdering.

In terms of flame retardancy, by adjusting the formula, it can reach the B1 level of non-flammable standard. During combustion, there is no molten dripping and low smoke density, which is suitable for building fire protection regulations, and the comprehensive safety performance is superior to some organic insulation boards.

Production and Installation of PU Insulation Foam Panel

At the production stage, the PU board adopts two processes: on-site spraying and continuous foaming in the factory. The factory-prepared boards have uniform density and precise dimensions, making them suitable for standardized batch production;

on-site spraying and foaming is suitable for irregular pipes and complex structures, ensuring seamless adhesion without any insulation dead corners. This is an advantage that cannot be replaced by other material types.

Advantages at the installation stage: The material is soft and easy to cut, no need for professional heavy tools, and can be completed by a single person with simple construction; the surface adhesion of the board is strong, and it bonds firmly with base materials such as color steel plates, iron sheets, and cement mortar, being unlikely to peel off.
