Product Performance of Polyurethane Composite Duct

Thermal insulation property The closed-cell rate of the core insulation layer polyurethane is ≥90%, and the thermal conductivity is stable at 0.018-0.022 W/(m · K) (at 25℃), which is far superior to the traditional combination of iron sheet air ducts and insulation cotton (thermal conductivity ≥0.035 W/(m · K)), and can reduce the energy consumption of the HVAC system by 15%-20%, achieving long-term energy conservation.

 

Flame retardant safety: Made of flame-retardant polyurethane raw materials, it complies with the B1 grade standard of GB 8624-2012 "Classification for Fire Performance of Building Materials and Products", with an oxygen index of ≥28%. No toxic gases are released during combustion, and it has passed the smoke density test (smoke density grade ≤75), meeting the safety requirements of densely populated places.

 

Mechanical strength: The composite structure design makes the density of the air duct only 30-40 kg/m³, which is over 60% lighter than traditional air ducts. Meanwhile, the compressive strength is ≥250 kPa and the tensile strength is ≥150 kPa, capable of withstanding external force impacts during installation and use without easy deformation.

 

Sealing and moisture-proof performance: It is connected with special sealant and snap-fit, with an air leakage rate of ≤1.5% (in compliance with GB 50243-2016 standard). Moreover, polyurethane is non-absorbent, moisture-proof and mold-proof, preventing condensation on the inner wall of the pipe and the breeding of bacteria, ensuring air quality.
