How to make PU Insulation Board Straight Ducts?

 

1. Marking & Tracing: Trace the required duct profile onto the insulation panel.

 

2.Cutting: Perform 45° miter cuts along panel edges for seamless corner assembly.

 

3.Gluing: Spread adhesive evenly over the panel's outer bonding surfaces.

 

4.Folding: Crease and fold panels along pre-scored grooves to shape complete duct casings.

 

5.Taping for Airtightness: Wrap all assembled duct seams with aluminium foil tape to secure air tightness.

 

6.Flange Gluing: Coat bonding areas between duct body and connecting flanges with adhesive.

 

7.Bracket Mounting: Fix steel angle brackets at designated installation positions.

 

8.Edge Reinforcement: Fit PVC or aluminium flanges onto all four peripheral sides of the duct for structural reinforcement.

 

9.Final Sealing: Inject silicone sealant into key critical joints to boost waterproofing and long-term durability.
