PIR Aluminium Duct Foam Panel

The core advantage of PIR lies in its low thermal conductivity. The measured thermal conductivity at room temperature ranges from 0.018 to 0.022 W/(m·K), which is much better than that of PU and XPS insulation boards.

At the same thickness of 25mm: The thermal resistance of PIR board can reach 0.96 (㎡·K)/W. Under the condition of a summer air supply temperature difference of 12℃, the temperature drop along the 100-meter duct is only 0.8 to 1.2℃, and the cooling loss is controlled within 3%.

Compared with the traditional iron sheet ducts with external insulation cotton, the overall insulation efficiency of this board has increased by more than 28%. Long-term operation can significantly reduce the energy consumption of air conditioning units.

The internal closed-cell structure accounts for ≥95%. The micro pores are sealed and do not leak water or air exchange, effectively preventing the common problems of air duct leakage and condensation water leakage from the structural aspect.

The double-sided aluminum foil is seamlessly bonded. After the panels are joined together, the actual measured air leakage rate is ≤ 1.5%, far exceeding the national standard of 5% for qualified air ducts.
The water absorption rate of the panels is ≤ 1.8%. In damp underground machine rooms or high-humidity kitchen and bathroom ventilation environments, they will not absorb water and expand, becoming soft and ineffective.

The surface water vapor isolation layer can prevent the convergence and condensation of cold and hot air. During the entire year of use, the outer wall of the air duct will have no dripping water or mold growth, avoiding problems such as ceiling leakage and wall moisture damage.

The measured compressive strength **is ≥ 220 kPa**, and it does not deform or sink under normal stacking, hoisting, or static pressure loads from pipelines.
