Pre Insulated Duct Foam Sheets

Pre Insulated Duct Foam Sheet adopts PU/PIR rigid foam core with double-sided aluminum foil lamination. It features low thermal conductivity, lightweight, fireproof, sound insulation and corrosion resistance, widely used in HVAC ventilation and air conditioning engineering.

Material Structure of Pre Insulated Duct Foam Sheets

The pre-insulated air duct foam board adopts a sandwich composite structure. The core material mainly consists of PU polyurethane, PIR polyisocyanurate or phenolic foam. The double-sided composite anti-corrosion aluminum foil and the color steel plate surface layer are used.

The core material is a high-bubble-rate rigid foam structure, with a bubble closure rate of over 95%. The structure is dense and does not absorb water. The aluminum foil on the surface has undergone anti-corrosion coating treatment, being resistant to acid and alkali, anti-ultraviolet rays, and anti-oxidation.

The overall is formed integrally without layering or deformation, and the structural stability is extremely strong. It is different from the traditional iron sheet air duct with an external insulation layer in a separate structure.

Construction and Installation of Pre Insulated Duct Foam Sheets

The overall structure is lightweight and highly durable, with a low density and a weight of approximately 1/3 of that of traditional iron sheet ducts.

This significantly reduces the load on the building floor. The panels are easy to cut and assemble, and no complex anti-corrosion or insulation secondary construction is required.

The production efficiency is 3-4 times that of traditional ducts, and the installation process is simple, which can shorten the construction period by more than half. It is suitable for narrow spaces in ceilings, shafts, rail transit, ships, and other restricted scenarios.

The connection and sealing are good, with an extremely low air leakage rate. No additional mufflers are required, and it has built-in sound insulation and noise reduction effects.
