PIR-ALU Insulated Panels

PIR-ALU insulated panels feature a rigid PIR foam core with embossed aluminum foil on both sides. Offering low thermal conductivity (λ=0.022 W/m·K), high rigidity, lightweight, excellent fire & moisture resistance, they are ideal for HVAC ducts.

Thermal Insulation and Physical Performance of PIR-ALU Insulated Panels

The industry-leading insulation capacity directly reduces HVAC energy consumption by approximately 25%.
Thermal conductivity λ = 0.022–0.024 W/m·K (at 10°C, EN 12667), superior to rock wool (0.040) and ordinary PU (0.026).
Thermal resistance R: 20 mm = 0.85, 30 mm = 1.25, 50 mm = 2.25 m²·K/W.
Example: 50 mm thick PIR-ALU duct, annual energy savings of approximately 22 kWh/㎡, 10,000㎡ project saves approximately 18,000 yuan in electricity annually.

Compressive strength: ≥ 150 kPa (10% deformation, EN 826), 20 mm thick can withstand ±500 Pa air pressure, meeting the requirements of medium and high pressure ducts.
Weight: approximately 1.2–1.5 kg/㎡ (20 mm), only 1/5 of traditional iron sheet ducts, reducing ceiling load and installation labor time by 30%+.

Fire Resistance and Moisture Resistance of PIR-ALU Insulated Panels

Fire Resistance Class: Euroclass B-s2,d0 (for some models C-s2,d0), non-flammable, low smoke, no dripping.
Combustion Characteristics: When exposed to fire, it chars but does not melt, the smoke is low in toxicity, and complies with EN 13501-1 and HVAC duct safety standards.
Application Safety: Suitable for densely populated places such as shopping malls, hospitals, and office buildings, and has passed FM and CE certifications.
Moisture Resistance and Durability
Absorption rate: ≤ 1% (long-term immersion), double-layer barrier of closed-cell + aluminum foil, completely vapor-proof (aluminum foil > 50 μm), eliminating condensation water and mold.
Corrosion resistance: Aluminum foil is resistant to oxidation and acid-base, PIR core is resistant to aging, with a service life of ≥ 20 years, maintenance-free, twice as long as traditional ducts in terms of lifespan.
Antibacterial: Smooth surface for easy cleaning, inhibits bacterial growth, suitable for scenarios with high hygiene requirements such as clean rooms and food factories.
