Polyisocyanurate(PIR) Foam Pre-Insulated HVAC Ductwork Panel is a high-performance, all-in-one solution designed for modern heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. Built with a precision-engineered sandwich structure, it features a dense Polyisocyanurate(PIR) foam core-celebrated for its exceptional thermal insulation properties-sandwiched between two protective layers of corrosion-resistant aluminum foil. This factory-prefabricated panel merges insulation, structural strength, and airtightness into a single component, eliminating the need for separate insulation installation and streamlining ductwork setup in diverse buildings.

Composite Sandwich Structure: The products usually adopt a "three-layer sandwich" structure. The core layer is mostly phenolic foam or polyisocyanurate (PIR), which are thermosetting materials with high closed-cell ratio and low water absorption rate. The surface layer can be selected as aluminum foil (for moisture-proof and anti-corrosion), galvanized steel plate (for increased strength), or color steel plate (for aesthetic appearance and good weather resistance) depending on the application scenario.

Thermal insulation:
The thermal conductivity can be as low as 0.02 W/m·K or less, and its energy efficiency far exceeds that of traditional glass wool.
Fire safety: It can reach Class 0 (British standard) or Grade A (Chinese standard).
Mechanical strength: The compressive strength is usually greater than 0.2 MPa, and the bending strength is greater than 1.0 MPa.

Excellent air tightness: The pre-cutting process and specialized sealing connection system of the prefabricated composite ducts result in an air tightness far exceeding that of traditional metal ducts, reaching Class C or even Class D levels. This effectively reduces air leakage losses and energy consumption of the fans.


Space and cost savings: Since the sheet material itself serves as the insulation layer, there is no need to cover it with insulation cotton as in traditional iron sheet ducts. This allows for saving in ceiling space. Additionally, its weight is over 85% lighter than that of traditional galvanized steel sheet ducts, reducing the building's load-bearing requirements and installation labor costs.
