Pre Insulated Phenolic Duct

Pre Insulated Phenolic Duct is a high-performance HVAC duct system with phenolic foam as the core insulation material, featuring a sandwich composite structure: the inner and outer layers are made of anti-corrosion aluminum foil or metal sheets, while the middle core layer is high-density phenolic foam insulation material. Phenolic foam has an extremely low thermal conductivity (usually ≤0.025 W/m·K), which can effectively block heat transfer and significantly reduce energy loss in air conditioning systems, making it an ideal choice for energy-saving buildings.​

This duct system also boasts excellent fire resistance. Phenolic foam is a flame-retardant material; when exposed to fire, a charring layer forms on its surface, effectively inhibiting flame spread and reducing the release of toxic gases, thus meeting fire safety standards for most buildings. Additionally, its closed-cell structure provides strong moisture resistance, preventing the insulation performance from deteriorating due to moisture. The smooth inner wall is not easy to accumulate dust, reducing microbial growth and ensuring indoor air quality-making it particularly suitable for places with strict hygiene requirements such as hospitals, food processing plants, and electronic clean rooms.​
