I. Core Material Composition
PIR Insulation Duct Board, also known as polyisocyanurate insulation duct board, takes PIR foam as the core insulation base material and is combined with a multi-layer protective structure on the surface.
PIR foam is generated by the catalytic reaction of isocyanate and polyol, with a cell density of 40-60 cells per cubic centimeter and a closed-cell rate exceeding 95%, forming a natural heat insulation barrier. The surface protective layer usually adopts 80-120μm aluminum foil composite glass fiber cloth. Some high-end models will add a 0.1mm galvanized steel plate layer, which not only enhances the tear resistance but also improves the moisture-proof and UV-resistant capabilities.
Ii. Core Performance Parameters
Ultra-low thermal conductivity: Under normal conditions, the thermal conductivity is stable at 0.018-0.022W/(m · K), which is more than 15% lower than that of traditional phenolic boards. A thickness of 25mm can meet the insulation requirements for working conditions ranging from -18 ℃ to 80℃.
B1 fire protection standard: Oxygen index ≥32%, forming a dense carbonized layer during combustion, flame spread speed ≤25, smoke density grade ≤75, passing the GB 8624-2012 fire protection test.
Weather resistance performance: After being placed in an environment with a relative humidity of 95% for 300 days, the change rate of thermal conductivity is less than 5%. There is no cracking or bulging after cyclic testing at -40℃ to 120℃.
Iii. Advantages of Construction Characteristics
Modular cutting: The standard plate size is 1200×2400mm, which can be cut on site with a special utility knife. The flatness error of the cut edge is ≤1mm, meeting the production requirements of special-shaped air ducts.
Quick lock connection: The side adopts mortise and tenon type tongue-and-groove design, and is spliced with special sealing strips. The installation efficiency is 40% higher than that of traditional air ducts. One person can complete the assembly of 15-20 square meters of air ducts in a single working day.
Lightweight advantage: The specific gravity is only 35-45kg/m³, which is 1/5 of that of galvanized iron sheet air ducts, significantly reducing the load-bearing requirements for the ceiling and the amount of steel structure supports used.
Iv. Scope of adapted scenarios
For large public buildings: In high Spaces such as shopping malls and exhibition centers, circular air ducts with a diameter of less than 1.2 meters can be fabricated to meet the requirements of large flow ventilation while controlling wind resistance loss.
Cleanroom applications: In scenarios such as hospital operating rooms and electronic cleanrooms, the surface aluminum foil layer can meet the Class 5 cleanliness standard without fiber shedding.
Low-temperature air conditioning system: It is suitable for air conditioning ducts in food cold storage and pharmaceutical cold chain workshops. It can maintain stable insulation performance at -30℃ and completely prevent condensation.
