PIR Insulation Board with Fiberglass Tissue

Core material: PIR (polyisocyanurate), a modified product of polyurethane, is made by the polymerization reaction of isocyanate and polyol, and its molecular structure contains stable isocyanurate rings.

Surface layer: Fiberglass Tissue, a felt-like material made from glass fibers through a special process, features excellent tensile strength, corrosion resistance and flame retardancy.

In the field of architecture: It is widely used in thermal insulation and heat preservation projects of walls, roofs, cold storage and other parts of industrial and civil buildings, such as the external wall insulation systems of factories, commercial buildings and residences, as well as the insulation layers of food cold storage and pharmaceutical cold storage.

Industrial equipment: It can be used for thermal insulation of pipelines and storage tanks, such as the outer layer insulation of chemical pipelines and oil storage tanks, to reduce the temperature loss of the medium or heat transfer.

Other fields: It is also applied in the insulation of the enclosure structures of some special places with high requirements for fire prevention and thermal insulation, such as clean workshops and laboratories.

Outstanding thermal insulation performance: With an extremely low thermal conductivity, typically ranging from 0.018 to 0.025 W/(m · K), it offers superior insulation performance compared to traditional EPS and XPS insulation materials, effectively reducing energy consumption in buildings or equipment.

Outstanding fire resistance: PIR itself has a high flame retardancy. Combined with the fire resistance characteristics of glass fiber mat, the product can meet B1 or even A2 fire resistance standards (with slight differences among different product models). When burning, it produces less smoke and no molten droplets, ensuring high fire safety.

Excellent mechanical properties: The glass fiber mat enhances the tensile and impact strength of the board, making the PIR insulation board less prone to deformation and damage during transportation, installation and use, and maintaining structural stability for a long time.
