Polyurethane Wall Roof Insulation Board

The thermal conductivity of rigid polyurethane is extremely low. When the density is 35-40kg/m³, the thermal conductivity is only 0.018-0.024W/(m·K), which is about half of that of EPS. For example, a 5cm-thick polyurethane composite board has the same thermal insulation effect as a 100cm-thick concrete.

The closed-cell rate of polyurethane is over 90%, which is a hydrophobic material. It will not increase the thermal conductivity due to moisture absorption, and the wall will not seep water.

After adding a flame retardant, polyurethane is a difficult-to-burn self-extinguishing material. Its softening point can reach above 250°C. When burning, it will form carbon deposits on the foam surface, which can effectively prevent the spread of fire. Generally, it can reach the B1-level fire resistance standard, and some products can reach the A-level fire resistance standard when combined with materials such as rock wool.

Polyurethane wall and roof insulation boards have high compressive strength, usually reaching above 180kPa. They also have good resistance to temperature changes and are not easy to deform. The closed-cell structure is stable, with strong anti-deformation ability and not easy to crack.

Under normal use and maintenance conditions, the average service life of polyurethane insulation structures can reach more than 30 years. It can maintain stability in various environments and is not easily damaged by external factors such as dryness, humidity, electrochemical corrosion, and the growth of insects, fungi, or algae.
