PIR Insulated Duct Board

PIR Insulated Duct is usually composed of core material and surface layer. The core material is B1 grade hard PIR foam with a closed-cell rate as high as 95%, featuring an extremely low thermal conductivity. For instance, the thermal conductivity of a 40mm thick PIR foam composite air duct board is as low as 0.022W/m · K.

The surface layer is generally made of aluminum foil, color steel plate or aluminum plate, etc. The surface is compounded with an antibacterial and anti-oxidation coating, such as double-sided aluminum foil PIR foam duct board. Its aluminum foil surface is firm and durable, not easy to be corroded or rusted, clean and hygienic, and will not condense due to the adsorption of moisture in the air.

PIR pre-insulated air ducts are made by evenly spraying PIR raw materials on surface materials such as color steel, aluminum foil, and aluminum plates, foaming at a certain temperature, and then pressing them into shape through a laminating machine.

PIR Insulated Duct can be widely applied in various places with high requirements for ventilation ducts, such as high-speed railways, ships, warships, medical purification, hospitals, pharmaceutical factories, meat food factories, airports, schools, electronics factories, dust-free workshops, chemical plants, supermarkets and other large places, as well as general residences, stores and other buildings. It is particularly suitable for the renovation of old buildings with limited construction space.
