In the highly competitive commercial real estate market where every inch of space counts, the height of the ceiling directly determines the net floor height and construction cost of the building. Traditional iron sheet ducts often require the use of thick glass wool or rock wool for insulation, which occupy a large volume of space and force the building to increase the floor height, thereby significantly increasing the structural cost.

The thermal conductivity of PIR foam is as low as 0.02 - 0.022 W/(m·K), which is much better than that of traditional glass wool, which is approximately 0.04 W/(m·K).
Actual savings in thickness: To achieve the same insulation effect, the total thickness of the insulation layer required for PIR ducts is only half or even less than that of traditional ducts.
Building cost correlation: Research shows that in commercial high-rise buildings, for every 10 cm reduction in ceiling height, approximately 2% to 3% of the vertical structure costs can be saved per floor.
