PIR Aluminum Duct Sheet

PIR Aluminum Duct Sheet (also known as PIR pre-insulated duct panel) is a high-performance, sandwich-type material specifically engineered for Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) ductwork.

Composition & Structure

As the name suggests, it is a composite material consisting of two distinct layers bonded together:

Core Layer: A rigid foam made of Polyisocyanurate (PIR). This is a thermoset plastic that provides the primary insulation.

Facing Layers: Both sides of the foam core are laminated with aluminum foil. The thickness of the aluminum can vary (standard is 60 or 80 microns, but 200-micron sheets are available for higher durability).
