1. Product Definition and Core Positioning
PIP (Pre-Insulated air ducting) prefabricated insulated air ducts are factory-fabricated integrated ventilation ducts that integrate three major structures: the base material of the air duct, the insulation layer, and the protective layer. They do not require secondary insulation construction on site and are mainly used in HVAC systems, clean workshop ventilation, industrial waste heat recovery, and other scenarios.
Product Structure and Material Configuration of PIP Insulation Air Ducting
Base material layer:
Galvanized steel plate (thickness 0.5-1.2mm) or aluminum foil composite board is adopted, with wind pressure resistance strength ≥1500Pa, suitable for different air volume requirements.
Insulation layer:
The core is high-density polyurethane foam (density ≥50kg/m³), with a thermal conductivity of ≤0.022W/(m · K), and its insulation performance is over 30% better than that of traditional glass wool.
Protective layer:
The outer layer is made of PVC color film or aluminum sheet, with a waterproof grade of IP65 and an aging resistance period of ≥10 years. It can adapt to complex environments such as dampness and chemical plants.
