PIR Pre-insulated Duct Sheet is a flexible, high-performance insulation material engineered for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) duct systems. It features a core of closed-cell polyisocyanurate (PIR) foam-renowned for exceptional thermal efficiency-laminated with protective facings (typically aluminum foil), designed for easy fabrication into custom duct shapes or retrofitting existing ductwork.

Alu. Foil: Embossed 60 Micron (80 Micron Aluminum is available)

PIR Foam Core: The core delivers ultra-low thermal conductivity (0.022 W/m·K) and high R-value (R-5 to R-8 per inch), minimizing heat gain/loss in ducts to cut HVAC energy consumption by 20–30%. Its closed-cell structure absorbs <1% water by volume, preventing mold growth and corrosion, while foam thickness (10mm–40mm) is customizable to suit thermal demands.

Protective Facings: Aluminum foil facings (60–100 microns thick) act as air/vapor barriers, ensuring airtightness (leakage ≤2% per EN 1507) and shielding the PIR core from physical damage. For specific markets like Australia, UV-treated or black foil variants are available to resist intense sunlight and match industrial-style designs.
