AluPIR Duct Panel

AluPIR Duct Panel (aluminum surface PIR prefabricated ventilation duct panel) is an integrated prefabricated insulation ventilation duct panel specially developed for HVAC systems. It adopts a "double-sided aluminum foil + PIR rigid foam core material" sandwich structure. When manufactured, it integrates insulation, structure, air tightness, and moisture-proof functions, eliminating the need for additional insulation.


Standard size: 3950×1200×20 mm (mainstream), customizable from 10–40 mm thickness;
Core material: high-density PIR rigid foam, with a closed-cell ratio of ≥95%, density of 50–55 kg/m³;


Surface layer: double-sided 0.06–0.08 mm corrosion-resistant aluminum foil, with strong air tightness and water vapor barrier properties;
Thermal conductivity: 0.018–0.022 W/m·K (20℃), far superior to traditional insulation materials.

Thermal Performance and Energy Saving of AluPIR Duct Panel

The core value lies in ultra-low thermal conductivity + no thermal bridges + airtight and leak-proof, significantly reducing air conditioning energy consumption.
Thermal conductivity comparison: PIR (0.022) < XPS (0.033) < Rockwool (0.040) < Glass wool (0.045). The thermal resistance of 20 mm AluPIR is approximately R ≈ 0.9 m²·K/W, equivalent to the insulation effect of 40 mm Rockwool;
Energy consumption reduction: Compared to traditional galvanized iron sheet ducts (with 25 mm Rockwool on the outside), the system energy consumption is reduced by 25–30%; for a 10,000㎡ commercial building, it saves approximately 250,000 kWh of electricity and reduces CO₂ emissions by approximately 200 tons;
Condensation prevention: Full aluminum foil sealing + closed-cell structure, water vapor permeability ≈ 0, eliminating condensation on the pipe wall and dripping water, suitable for high-humidity environments (such as hospitals, food factories);
Heat loss: Traditional duct leakage + thermal bridge loss is approximately 15%, while the integrated sealing design of AluPIR controls heat loss within 2%.

Installation: dedicated cutting tools, dovetail jointing, no welding / flanges required, a 4-person team can install up to 80-100 m² per day, traditional iron sheet only 20-30 m²; project duration shortened by 50%, labor cost reduced by 40%;


No secondary insulation: factory insulation, eliminating 5 processes of "welding → rust removal → painting → outsourcing insulation → wrapping tape" for iron sheet ducts, the site is cleaner.
