Insulation layer: The mainstream uses polyurethane (PU) or polyisocyanurate (PIR) foam, with a thermal conductivity as low as 0.020 W/m · K. The closed-cell structure can effectively block heat transfer and prevent condensation.
Protective layer: The outer layer is covered with aluminum foil or pre-coated galvanized steel Sheet (GI Sheet), with thicknesses ranging from 60 microns of aluminum foil to 200 microns of galvanized steel sheet, providing corrosion resistance, weather resistance and mechanical strength.
Sealing design: Special glue and sealing tape are used for connection, and the air tightness is 8 times higher than that of traditional air ducts, reducing energy loss caused by air leakage.

Selection Suggestions and Precautions of UNT PID Duct Foam Panel
Environmental adaptability
PIR foam is preferred for high-temperature scenarios (>80°C), while PU material is recommended for low-temperature environments (<-50°C).
For outdoor installation, the 200-micron GI Sheet model should be selected, and a moisture-proof coating can be added to the inner layer.
System compatibility
The interface dimensions need to match those of air conditioning units, dampers and other equipment. It is recommended to use accessories of the same brand to ensure sealing.
Compliance verification
Export projects must comply with local standards (such as EU CE and US UL), while domestic projects need to pass fire safety inspections and energy-saving certifications.
