Product Structure of PU Sandwich Duct Panel
The Sandwich Duct Panel adopts an integrated sandwich structure. The two outer layers are usually made of high-strength materials, commonly aluminum foil or metal panels. Aluminum foil not only has good moisture resistance and corrosion resistance, but also can effectively reflect heat and reduce heat transfer; metal panels provide higher mechanical strength, enhancing the durability and impact resistance of the duct. The middle core layer is the key to the insulation of the entire duct, which is generally made of high-density insulating materials, such as polyisocyanurate (PIR) foam, polyurethane (PU) foam or phenolic foam. These foam materials have extremely low thermal conductivity, which can efficiently prevent heat transfer between the inside and outside of the duct and ensure the stability of the air temperature inside the duct.
