PU Pre-Insulated Air Conditioning Duct

The PU pre-insulated air conditioning duct is a rigid, composite panel-based air distribution system used in HVAC applications. It is manufactured as a structural sandwich panel consisting of:

Core layer: Rigid polyurethane (PU) foam, formed via continuous lamination or block foaming and slicing.

Facings: Typically aluminum foil (plain or embossed), sometimes reinforced with fiberglass scrim or coated with anti-corrosion layers for enhanced mechanical strength and surface durability.

The three layers are permanently bonded during production, creating a monolithic, load-bearing panel that serves simultaneously as air conduit, thermal insulator, and vapor barrier.
