Featuring high-performance PU foam as the core substrate, PU Composite Ductwork are lightweight composite materials that combine thermal insulation, structural strength and certified fire resistance as a complete assembly, widely applied in HVAC construction.

This integrated modular duct solution reduces system energy loss, expedites on-site installation, and sustains stable ventilation efficiency during long-term operation.

Core Material: Rigid polyurethane (PUR) foam, known for its high closed-cell content (typically above 90%).

Facings: Both sides are laminated with reinforced aluminum foil, fiberglass scrim, or other vapor-retarder layers to provide durability, reflectivity, and a smooth air surface.

How to make Straight Ducts with PU Composite Ductwork

Tools: Pre-insulated Duct Cutting Tools Kit, including V cutter.
Method: Boards are scored, folded, and assembled into rectangular; joints sealed with pressure-sensitive aluminum foil tape or water-based acrylic adhesive.
Support: While rigid enough for low-to-medium static pressure (typically ≤ 1500 Pa, or 6″ w.g.), ducts require proper hanging supports per manufacturer guidelines.
