The aluminum foil is usually several tens of microns thick, with common specifications of 60/80 microns. It mainly functions as moisture-proof and heat-reflective, which can not only improve the thermal insulation performance of the polyurethane board but also enhance its surface hardness and wear resistance.

PU Board Aluminum  is an innovative composite board. Its core is polyurethane (PU) – the closed-cell structure delivers excellent thermal insulation, sound insulation and waterproofing. The outer layer is aluminum foil or aluminum alloy, which leverages aluminum's light weight (density 2.7g/cm³), corrosion resistance and easy processability to protect the PU core.

 

Type: Aluminum Foil-faced Polyurethane Panel: A layer of aluminum foil (common thickness 60-80μm) is bonded to the polyurethane board surface, e.g., the widely used 80μm aluminum foil-faced products in the industry. With over 90% reflectivity, the aluminum foil layer strengthens thermal radiation barrier, boosting overall thermal insulation efficiency by 15%-20%. It also enhances surface scratch and moisture resistance, ideal for cold storage, pipeline insulation and similar scenarios.
