PIR Aluminum Duct Board

The PIR aluminum foil composite duct board adopts a sandwich composite structure. The core layer is a rigid polyisocyanurate (PIR) closed-cell foam, and the double-sided aluminum foil surface layer is bonded together using a special adhesive through high-temperature compounding.

The PIR core material has a high closed-cell rate and moderate density, possessing stable physical properties; the aluminum foil serves the functions of protection, vapor barrier, airtightness, and heat reflection.

This integrated structure combines the duct and the insulation layer into one, eliminating the need for additional insulation material wrapping. It solves the problems of traditional duct leakage, condensation, and complex construction from a structural perspective, resulting in greater overall stability and longer service life.

The outer layer of aluminum foil on the sheet material has excellent corrosion resistance. It will not rust, oxidize or age like metal ducts. The core material has strong chemical stability and is not prone to moisture absorption, deformation, powdering or degradation. Under normal usage conditions, the duct system has a long service life and requires minimal maintenance in the later stage, reducing the costs of replacement and repair. It is particularly suitable for harsh environments such as coastal high humidity, industrial dustiness, and underground spaces, and can maintain stable performance over a long period of use.

The PIR aluminum foil composite duct board is applicable to various central air conditioning and ventilation systems, including commercial complexes, office buildings, hotels, hospitals, factories, clean rooms, cold chain warehouses, underground garages, and rail transit systems. It outperforms traditional ducts in terms of energy saving, fire prevention, hygiene, installation speed, and total life cycle cost. It is currently a highly cost-effective mature product in the HVAC field.
