AluPIR Duct Foam Panel is sandwich panel with double-sided embossed aluminum foil & closed-cell PIR core. Low thermal conductivity, B1 fire rating, lightweight, low air leakage, widely used in commercial HVAC ventilation systems.

The infrastructure and standardized physical parameters of AluPIR Duct Foam Panel
The sheet material adopts an integrated foaming composite process. There is no delamination between the aluminum foil and the foam core, and the bonding strength is 0.14 MPa. It will not peel or lose aluminum over a long period of use.
1) Core material: Modified PIR closed-cell foam, with a density standard of 50–55 kg/m³, a closed-cell rate of ≥ 98%, and no water vapor permeation channels;
2) Surface layer: Double-sided 80 μm embossed epoxy anti-corrosion aluminum foil, which can also be customized as 60 μm or 0.18 mm thick aluminum foil;
3) Standard thickness: 15/20/25/30/40 mm, with 20 mm being the market standard model;
4) Standard board size: 3950 × 1200 mm, 2950 × 1200 mm;
5) Surface density is only 1.3–1.5 kg/㎡, and the overall weight is only about 1/7 of the traditional galvanized iron sheet air duct (with insulation coating), significantly reducing the load on the building ceiling, and having significant advantages in high-rise and steel structure factory projects.
Noise reduction, environmental hygiene performance of AluPIR Duct Foam Panel
(1) Silent noise reduction
The high-density PIR foam itself has an acoustic absorption and buffering effect, which can reduce the noise of the duct airflow by 15–25 dB, weaken the transmission of fan vibration to the ceiling, and in quiet areas such as hotel guest rooms, meeting rooms, and operating rooms, no additional noise suppressors are required, simplifying the duct design.
(2) Environmental cleanliness
Produced by the full water foaming process, it does not contain CFC, HCFC, formaldehyde, benzene and other harmful substances. There is no odor at the time of delivery; the smooth and sealed aluminum foil inner wall does not accumulate dust or breed bacteria and mold, and the inner wall does not have dust from glass wool falling and polluting the air supply, meeting the clean air supply standards of food processing plants and medical purification workshops. No additional inner wall coating treatment is required.
The product design has a service life of more than 20 years, and no maintenance or replacement of the insulation layer is needed throughout the process.

Traditional galvanized iron sheet ducts require four processes: cutting, bending, flange welding, and on-site insulation wrapping. In contrast, AluPIR panels only require three steps for formation: on-site cutting, glue bonding, and sealant tape sealing. A single person can complete the production of 25 square meters of ducts per day, increasing the construction efficiency by 5 times and reducing labor costs by over 40%. This significantly shortens the project duration.
There is no need to purchase auxiliary materials such as insulation cotton, wire ties, and aluminum foil tape. The overall material procurement cost is 10% lower than that of iron sheet duct systems. The panels are lightweight, reducing the number of ceiling hangers and supports by 60%, further saving on hardware and accessory expenses.
The leftover edges and corners of the panels can be recycled, with the material loss rate controlled within 3%, which is 8% - 12% lower than that of iron sheet ducts.
